Join us for this year's community picnic! Get excited for free food, face painting, live music from Verona favorites The Family Joules, a 50/50 raffle, and other fun activities. Inner Groove Brewing will be selling beer, and you can purchase treats from either the new Gilbert's Creamery ice cream truck (right across the street from the park) or Becca's Sno Cones & Glitter Tattoos.
We are also pleased to announce the return of the Verona Chili Contest!
Think you've got the hottest (best, most flavorful, top notch) chili in Verona? It's time to put your recipe to the test!
The Verona Chili Contest is back in 2024 and is officially accepting sign-ups. Get ready to bring the flavor and claim your spot as Lord/Lady of the Ladle! All picnic attendees will be offered a chance to sample the chili and vote for their favorite. Don't miss out!
